Football Fans 

WORLD CLASS FANS IN THE UAE, IBRAHIM, 21/11/2017.

Football is nothing without the fans and the supporters of each club or national team. In each club players change coaches change and also the people ruling the clubs also change but what does not change is the fans supporting the club. In the UAE the number of people attending the football matches is decreasing and it is a serious problem we see stadiums with more than ten thousand seats capacity but the amount of people attending the matches is below one thousand except the big matches or derbies there are some clubs in which there supporters support them in high numbers of fans especially AL WAHDA FC fans they are the best fans in UAE nowadays.

What makes the fans different from other football fans in the UAE is first of all they support the team when the lose before they win here is a video of the fans supporting the team when the team was losing 5-1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJDS4yQwtDo we don't see such thing a lot all around the world not only in the UAE when we see something like this what we understand is these fans support the club not the players or anyone else they are behind the club name and logo and this is very unique and special. In my opinion this is a very positive thing and in this year we can see a lot of football fans get more motivated to attend there club matches because of what they saw from ALWAHDA FC fans. these acts between the fans build a sense of a challenge between the fans in the UAE every one want to prove that his fans is the best and the benefit of this things goes back to the league in general hopefully in the early future we can compare the football fans in the use to other fans in counties in Asia and Europa and south America.

In the history of football there was many good players, Opinions may be different about the question who is the best player in football? Who is the greatest of all time? Some people may say Diego Maradona others may say the Brazilian black diamond Pele and a few number of people might say Cristiano Rolando, In my opinion and a large number of people might agree with me the best player of all time is Lionel Messi. Messi is a Argentinean player who plays for FC BARCELONA since 2004 he was born in Rosario,Argentina in 1987 which means he is 30 years old now. he started his football career with Newell's Old Boys in Argentina then he moved to Barcelona when he was 16 years old.

First of all Messi have five golden balls, He's records with his team and his national team is really insane talking about the goals he scored until now he played with FC BARCELONA 723 matches and he scored 523 goals and  198 assists and with his national team ARGENTINA he played 123 matches and he scored 61 goals and 26 assists. As i said Messi has 5 five golden balls, 3 UEFA best player in Europe, 4 champions league in the years 2006, 2009,2011,2015. 8 times Spanish league champions in 2005, 20006, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016. 5 times Spanish cup winner in 2009, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017. 7 times Spanish super cup winner in 2006, 2007,2010,2011,2012,2014,2017. 3 Fifa club world cup in 2009, 2011, 2015. 3 times super cup winner in 2010, 2012, 2016.

And with the national team he got the golden olympics medal in 2009 and under 20 world cup in 2005. He reached the Fifa world cup final match in 2014 but his national team lost against Germany, he played 2 Copa america finals in 2015 and 2016 and he lost them as well and some people say that he just need a world cup to be the greatest of all time and in my opinion as i said he's the best he's docent need the world cup to prove that he the world best player.

ALWAHDA FC History and Achievements , IBRAHIM, 11/7/2017.

When we talk about football in the UAE for sure we should mention AlWAHDA FC which is based in Abu Dhabi and it was founded in 1974, The main colour of the club is maroon and the club stadium is called AL-Nahyan Stadium with a capacity of 12,000 seats.

AlWAHDA FC has 12 trophies: The UAE league 4 times in the years 1999,2001,2005,2010. And the Presidents cup two times in the years 2000 and 2017. The Super cup two times in the years 2002 and 2011. The federation cup 3 times in the years 1986,1995,2001 and finally the UAE league cup on time in 2016. AlWAHDA FC has 9 appearance in AFC Champions League in the years 2004,2006,2007,2008,2010,2011,2015,2017 and the club qualified to the 2018 AFC Champions League, The best stage that club reached in the AFC Champions League was the semi-finals in 2007. The club also played twice in the Asian club Championship in 2000 and 2002 and they also played once in the Asian cup winners cup in 1999. 

After winning the UAE league in 2010 AlWAHDA FC  qualified to the world club cup which was organised by the FIFA and was played in Abu Dhabi.

The 2010 FIFA club cup had 7 clubs, AlWAHDA FC  played 3 matches in that tournament the first one was against Hekari United and AlWAHDA FC  won 3-0, In the second match AlWAHDA FC  played against Seongnam and the lost 4-1, In the third and last match AlWAHDA FC  faced Puchuca the matched ended with a score of 2-2 and the puchuca won with penalties 4-2.

What makes AlWAHDA FC different and unique from other clubs is the AlWAHDA FC football academy which was opened in 2003 by his highness sheik saeed bin zayed AL Nahyan. AlWAHDA FC football academy is one of the best football academies in the region the football academy goal is to make and improve the talent of young football players the academy focus on many other things not just about football they provide education and other social and health profits for the players in the academy in order to provide high quality players to the first team and for the UAE national team.

This is my first blog and i will talk about Football in this blog. I choose this topic because I'm a football fan and i enjoy playing football and attending football matches and watching football matches in my free time. Football is a very famous around the world and it is very common in the United Arab Emirates and it is the first sport in the country, There are a football league in each country. FIFA was found in 1904 fifa is a international governing body of association football with a members of 221 National association, Fifa organise many football tournaments  in all around the world which are Fifa World Cup, Fifa Confederations Cup, Fifa U-20 World Cup, Fifa U-17 World Cup, Fifa Club World Cup.

And in every continent there is a football confederation in Asia it is AFC which organise the Asian Cup and the arc champions league, in Europe it is UEFA which organise Euro cup, UEFA Champions league and EUROPA league, In north america is is the CONCACAF with organise the concacaf cup, In south america is is the CONMEBOL which organise Copa America and Copa Librettodores, In Africa it is the CAF which organise Africa cup.

I think that people in the UAE should take football in a more serious way because the national team is not doing well and the league is being ignored by the fans an like the old days, In the past football was everything and many people used to watch and attend the matches but nowadays the fans decreased and thats why I'm writing this blog.
